Sun-shine Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is one of the major importers and distributors of Window Enhancement Products (WEP) in Malaysia since 1984. In the early years of operation, the business premise was relocated a few times until it was moved to present headquarter at Taman Perindustrian Puchong in early 1992. WEP refers to solar control window films (building and automobile), safety and security films, decorative films, vertical, venetian and roller blinds, bamboo and wooden blinds.
As a major importer and distributor of many brands of solar control window films, there was no focus of any particular brands or range of products by Sun-shine Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd. What more when in early 2002, 3M Malaysia appointed Sun-shine Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd to be the sole distributorship of 3M Scotchtint ™ window films. There was no special team or department created within the company to distribute and market these high quality and branded window films in Malaysia. With pressure of achieving sales target quarterly, half yearly and yearly mounting, something needs to be done immediately. Hence, the establishment of Active Vibrant Sdn Bhd on the 20th June 2002.
The main objective of Active Vibrant Sdn Bhd is to focus solely on distributing and marketing of 3M window films and 3M Nomad ™ car & floor mats. As the market for commercial, residential and automotive sector is ever expanding, we strongly feel that there is a growing demand for high end, good quality window films and matting. What is in the market today are mostly the average to low or economy range of window films. With the establishment of Active Vibrant Sdn Bhd, we are confident to fill the ‘vacuum’ and meet the needs of this market segment.
The setting up of Active Vibrant Sdn Bhd is the brainchild of Mr.Andy Chong, the managing director of Sun-shine Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd. With over 20 years of experience in the tinting industry, he is instrumental in getting a team of highly professional personnel to run the day to day business of the company.
